01 / GNSS processing

Bring your observations into focus.

Prepare your GNSS data and choose the processing workflow that fits your survey.

Moving observations

PPK processing

Post-process base and rover observations to calculate a trajectory. Review the solution before using the results for your images or field deliverables.

Fixed observations

Static processing

Process GNSS observations collected at a fixed point to support control surveys and base coordinate determination.

RINEX preparationConvert compatible GNSS logs and organize the observation files needed for post-processing.

Static GNSS / Solution review

From observations to control points.

Configure observations, base coordinates and the processing strategy. Review your results, solution quality and baselines in the GEOStudio workspace.

Point-by-point surveying

Stop & Go with your field apps.

Collect points with ROLAVICam, ROLAVIScan or SW Maps and post-process the occupations in ROLAVIGeoStudio. Keep the receiver stationary at each point, then continue to the next one while raw GNSS recording remains active.

  1. CollectRecord the point IDs and occupation times in your field app.
  2. ProcessCombine those times with compatible rover and base observations from the same period.
  3. ReviewCheck the solution and prepare the resulting point coordinates for your project.

Keep the point records and raw GNSS observations: both are needed to associate each occupation with the post-processed trajectory.

02 / Image geotagging

Every image, connected to its position.

Connect capture time, coordinates and control points to prepare the next stage of your project.

Photogrammetry & videogrammetry

Bring together photographs, video frames and ROLAVI field records. Prepare geotagged images and organize AutoTags and GCPs for processing in Agisoft Metashape.

  • Link images to their capture records and coordinates.
  • Organize AutoTags and measured ground control points.
  • Prepare camera and GCP information for the next processing stage.

Aerial capture

Drone image geotagging

Connect flight photos with GNSS observations and compatible MRK event files. Use the PPK solution to update image coordinates and review the result on a map.

  • Prepare base, rover and image event data.
  • Associate images with their corrected positions.
  • Review geotagged images before photogrammetric processing.

03 / Office to field

Your 3D project. Back in the real world.

ROLAVIGeoStudio generates augmented reality files for ROLAVICam and ROLAVIScan. Prepare the project in the office, open the compatible AR file in your field app and visualize the model over the camera view.

  1. Prepare the model. Organize the geometry, coordinates and reference system in GEOStudio.
  2. Export the AR file. Prepare ROLAVIAR or the model format supported by the destination app.
  3. Open it in the field. Load the project in ROLAVICam or ROLAVIScan and check its position, scale and orientation.

Windows installation

If Microsoft Defender blocks GEOStudio

Keep antivirus protection on. A detection must be checked; do not assume it is a false positive.

Application file in the installation folderC:\Program Files\ROLAVI GEOStudio\ROLAVI_GEOStudio.exe
  1. Review the alert

Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history. Check the detection and affected file. Use the download from this website.

  2. Verify before restoring

Contact ROLAVI support and request review by your antivirus provider. Restore a quarantined file or allow it only after it has been verified as a false positive.

  3. Exclude only the verified file, if needed

In Windows Security, open Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions → Add or remove exclusions → Add an exclusion → File. Select the executable shown above.

Do not exclude the entire installation folder, all EXE files or a process. A file exclusion reduces protection for that file; remove it when the detection is resolved. For other antivirus software, follow its provider’s guidance.

Source code for the distributed Blender version

When Blender is included in an installer, its corresponding source must be made available under the applicable GPL terms. A general website link alone does not identify that source.

  1. Identify the exact build.Check Help → About Blender in the included copy and note its version and build information.
  2. Find the matching official release. The official source archive lists release packages. Select the version that matches the distributed copy, rather than simply the latest version.
  3. Account for any modifications. If Blender has been modified, the distributor must also provide the corresponding modifications and other source and build materials required by the GPL.

The supplied notice does not identify the Blender version included in these installers. The official archive below is a general reference, not a verified source package for a particular ROLAVIGeoStudio installer.
